A tale of two storeys.

This building tells a story...  a love story between two different storeys, and two different styles. The ground floor of the existing building revamps the layout to suit the lifestyle of the client, whilst converting the otherwise bland existing 70s facade into a mid-century modern classic. The ground floor retains the brick character of the house, and gets a modern first floor addition with sweeping curves and angled walls. Both storeys are separated by a dark coloured strip that seamlessly merges the mid-century style, with a modern first floor extension.
